This prank is best during cold weather as frozen ground dramatically improves the annoyance factor.
The gist is that you stab lots of plastic forks into the target's lawn. The target is then greeted in the morning with a forest of white plastic. This looks really funny and if done on a night when the ground freezes, the target will end up breaking off the handles of most of the forks. This makes getting just the useful end of the fork a pain to get out of the ground.
Approach this prank as you would toilet-papering. Go at night and plan on a speedy, stealth approach. Take as many friends as you can and load them up with as many forks as possible. Sky's the limit on designs. You can go with the shock and awe approach of covering all visible space or you can spell out messages or design crop circles. Several colors of forks may add to artistic possibilities.
